If your lawyer wants to settle your auto accident case and you want to go to trial, you should go to trial. Your lawyer advises you, but you’re the one that decides the action to be taken. I want to also explain that some lawyers want to settle claims because they don’t litigate. If they’re not litigators, they then have to refer the case to a lawyer like me that litigates, and they only receive a portion of the fee that they would’ve earned. You need to find out whether your lawyer’s a litigator, and why it is that he doesn’t want to go to trial.
