If you are injured in Florida by a driver that does not have insurance, then I hope you have an uninsured or underinsured motorist policy that will allow you to collect from your own insurance as if you were suing the party that caused the accident. Otherwise, we have to look to see if there are other parties at fault, like a construction company or a city, a county, or a state for some defect in the road and other possible third parties.
