Tamarac, FL (December 26, 2023) – Authorities in Tamarac are now investigating the circumstances surrounding a woman’s death after a fire that broke out in her apartment early Tuesday morning.
According to officials, around 3:30 a.m., a residential fire broke out in the 7900 block of South Colony Circle in Tamarac. A 29-year-old woman was found seriously hurt in her apartment after firefighters extinguished the blaze. Tamarac Fire Rescue said the incident was restricted to a single apartment, although authorities have not verified the exact number of individuals inside.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she passed away. Authorities are still investigating the incident in the meantime and have not released further details.
