Pompano Beach, FL – Pedestrian Hit & Killed By Train Near 15th St
Pompano Beach, FL (December 14, 2023) – Following a train-pedestrian crash, authorities responded and are currently investigating the incident in Pompano Beach.
A person was hit by a train in the vicinity of Northwest 15th Street and Northwest 13th Avenue at around 5:15 a.m. on Thursday morning, per local officers. According to officials, a person had been struck and seriously injured by the train when rescue workers arrived. Despite life-saving efforts by EMTs, the pedestrian was declared deceased at the site of the accident, as verified by deputies. The Broward Sheriff’s Office is handling the ongoing investigation at this time.
