Miramar, FL – Man Dies in Hit-and-Run on US 27 at Pembroke Rd

Miramar, FL (February 13, 2024) – A man whose body was found along U.S. Highway 27 in Miramar Tuesday morning was likely the victim of a hit-and-run crash, according to police.

A driver made the discovery around 6:45 a.m., police said. Authorities reported to the scene just south of Pembroke Road shortly after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and closed the highway to investigate. Police said they have not yet been able to identify the victim, though anyone with information is asked to call Miramar police or Broward Crime Stoppers
