Miami, FL – Vehicle Wreck, Fire Injures Victims on Dolphin Expy

Miami, FL (September 9, 2023) – On Friday morning in Northwest Miami-Dade, a vehicle caught fire following an auto accident on the shoulder of a Florida roadway.

Around 7:30 a.m. in the morning, a collision and subsequent vehicle fire were reported on the Dolphin Expressway close to Northwest 87th Avenue.

Crews from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue worked to put out the raging fire and thick smoke that had engulfed the car. EMTs also responded, but the total number of injured victims is also unknown.

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol are still investigating at this time.
