Miami, FL – Two Injured in House Fire on NW 83rd St

Miami, FL - Two Injured in House Fire on NW 83rd St

Miami, FL (December 6, 2023) – According to officials, a home fire in northwest Miami-Dade was extinguished by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue early Wednesday morning in the county’s West Little River community.

The incident occurred at a house on the 1800 block of Northwest 83rd Street shortly before 11:30 a.m. Despite having trouble entering the property, a crew of firemen managed to contain the fire, according to MDFR. After the house’s roof fell and several windows were destroyed by the fire, news footage showed firemen evaluating the damage. The home fire did not cause any serious injuries, though two people were assessed by EMTs. The cause of the blaze is still being investigated in the meantime.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their families. We hope for their complete recovery.
