Miami, FL - Two Hurt in Apt Complex Fire on Bay Harbor Dr at 103rd St

Miami, FL (January 16, 2024) – An apartment building in the Bay Harbor area was the scene of a fire that required the response of Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units on Tuesday evening, January 16.

The incident occurred at the corner of West Bay Harbor Drive and 103rd Street, and according to the officials, the fire began in the kitchen of a unit located on the second story. Officials from the fire rescue agency said that fifty firemen put out the fire and that the damage to the unit was mostly contained. The authorities have released no details on the cause of the fire, and no serious injuries occurred, though two people were evaluated and treated at the site, per news footage.

Our thoughts go out to the injured victims and their loved ones in hopes of their full recovery.
