Miami, FL – Two Hospitalized After Restaurant Wreck on Sheridan

Miami, FL - Two Hospitalized After Restaurant Wreck on Sheridan

Miami, FL (December 17, 2023) – After a vehicle crashed into the front of a restaurant in Pembroke Pines, two individuals were sent to the hospital.

At around 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, units from Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue and the Pembroke Pines Police Department arrived at the site of the accident at the Hong Kong Tokyo Chinese Restaurant on Sheridan Street. The driver of the wine-colored SUV allegedly slammed into the store after pressing the gas by mistake, according to investigators. The accident caused minimal damage to the structure and spread glass and debris all over the floor, but two people were injured. The patients were taken to Memorial Hospital Miramar by paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing, however, and no further details were released.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of their full recovery.
