Miami, FL - Three Hospitalized in Police Cruiser Wreck on 117th Ave

Miami, FL (November 2, 2023) – A traffic accident in southwest Miami-Dade County sent two police officers and another person to the hospital, according to reports.

The two officers, who were not immediately named, were transported to Baptist Hospital of Miami, where they were listed in stable condition, authorities said.

It was reported that the third victim was also in stable condition after being transported to Jackson South Medical Center. As reported by the police, the incident occurred around 7:20 a.m. near SW 117th Avenue and SW 152nd Street.

What led to the crash is unclear, according to the police. An investigation remains ongoing.
