Miami, FL – Scooter Rider Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run on 103rd St

Miami, FL (September 13, 2023) – On Wednesday, police called for the public’s assistance in locating the hit-and-run motorist who severely injured a moped rider in northwest Miami-Dade County.

Surveillance video of the accident that left an 18-year-old male fighting for his life was released by investigators on Wednesday and showed that the incident occurred at the intersection of NW 103rd Street and 35th Avenue at about 2:00 a.m.

Constant said he was riding his scooter home from his work at an Amazon warehouse when a Toyota Corolla SE manufactured in 2007 or later crashed into him and drove off.

Police are conducting an investigation at this time and asked witnesses to come forward.
