Miami, FL – Pedestrian Hospitalized Following Car Accident on 16th Ave

Miami, FL (November 16, 2023) – Miami police responded to a traffic accident that left a pedestrian with injuries on Wednesday, November 14th. The collision, which involved a pedestrian and a vehicle, took place near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Northwest 62nd Street near Lake Catalina. 

A local source with knowledge of the accident said that the pedestrian, an adult female, was taken by ambulance to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her current condition is unknown.

Responding officers have not yet indicated whether the driver will be issued a citation or face criminal charges. No further details have been released as this incident is still under investigation.
