Miami, FL – Officer Hurt in Two-Car Crash on Krome Ave Near Florida City

Miami, FL (January 23, 2024) – An accident involving a police officer from Florida City is now under investigation by authorities in Miami-Dade County.

A silver Honda sedan and an SUV belonging to a supervisor of the Florida City police force were involved in the wreck, which took place on Tuesday night in Florida City near the 1200 block of North Krome Avenue at 9:30 p.m. There is no word yet from the authorities on whether the collision was related to an ongoing police investigation or whether anybody was taken into custody. At least one of the victims was hospitalized, but their current condition is also unknown. An inquiry into the wreck is ongoing.
