Miami, FL – Man Hospitalized in Scooter Collision on NW 7th Ave

Miami, FL (December 27, 2023) – An early Sunday morning scooter accident in Miami left a man in serious condition, per reports from local officers.

The Miami Police Department was alerted at around 4:30 a.m. in the morning to reports of a man being hit by a car while riding a scooter at the intersection of Northwest 7th Avenue and 14th Street. Police say the victim was taken to JMH Trauma in serious condition by Miami Fire Rescue. The investigation into the crash’s causes is ongoing, though the MPD said that the incident was not a hit-and-run.
