Miami, FL - Injury-Causing Collision at NW 27th Ave & 49th St

Miami, FL (January 16, 2024) – Authorities report that on Tuesday, January 16, a rear-end collision occurred in the greater Miami area, involving at least two vehicles.

Officers of the Miami Police Department were dispatched to the accident scene, which took place at the intersection of NW 27th Avenue and 49th Street, shortly before 1:30 p.m. The events leading up to the collision are unknown; however, MPD officers report that a rear-end wreck likely occurred. Those in need of additional medical attention were transported to a nearby hospital by EMTs, though further information on the victims of the collision was not provided. In the interim, an investigation is active and ongoing.
