Miami, FL - Hit-and-Run Causes Injuries at 16th Ave & Ives Dairy Rd

Miami, FL (September 17, 2023) – On Sunday morning, September 17, at about 7:00 a.m., multiple cars were involved in a hit-and-run accident that left at least one person injured and forced the closure of a nearby junction.

The incident occurred at roughly 8:00 a.m. near the intersection of 16th Avenue and Ives Dairy Road, according to local dispatch records published by Miami-Dade officials.

A police officer and an EMT arrived at the accident scene at about 8:15 a.m. to conduct an investigation and transport any injured parties to a local medical center.

The incident is still being investigated by deputies from Miami-Dade County, who have not provided any information on the possible hit-and-run motorist or the cause of the wreck at this time.
