Miami, FL – 12-Vehicle Wreck, Injuries on Palmetto Expy at 36th St

Miami, FL (October 16, 2023) – Local news footage on Monday morning showed a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on State Road 826, often known as the Palmetto Expressway, and authorities are launching an investigation.

The southbound lanes of the freeway at Northwest 36th Street were blocked after a major crash involving at least 12 drivers.

The Palmetto Expressway is backed up beyond the Northwest 58th Street exit.

Authorities have been called for further information, although it is yet unknown how many people were hurt.

An investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
