Lauderdale Lakes, FL (January 3, 2024) – The circumstances of a fatal car crash in Lauderdale Lakes are still being probed as of Wednesday, January 3, per local officials.

The incident happened on West Oakland Park Boulevard in the 3500 block. According to deputies with the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, at least two drivers were involved, including the operator of a tow truck, who stayed at the scene to cooperate with authorities. The total number of victims affected remains unknown, but one person was pronounced dead as a result of the crash. An investigation is ongoing in the meantime, and deputies plan to release additional information as it becomes available.
