Hollywood, FL – School Official Hit, Injured in Coconut Creek

Hollywood, FL (September 24, 2023) – Last week, a school official at Coconut Creek was hit and injured by a vehicle while crossing the street in front of the local high school, and police are asking any witnesses to step forward.

The incident occurred on 44th Avenue around 9:30 p.m., as recorded by the Hollywood Police Department’s dispatch center. It’s unclear if the driver stayed at the scene, but local police enforcement and EMS personnel arrived shortly thereafter and took the victim to an area hospital.

Hollywood and Coconut Creek officials are currently investigating the incident’s root cause.
