Greenacres, FL – Illodia Phadael Killed in Hit-and-Run at 10th & Walker Aves

Greenacres, FL (January 3, 2024) – On New Year’s Eve, a 91-year-old woman was killed in a collision in Greenacres, and deputies from Palm Beach County are now looking for the driver.

Just before 9:15 p.m., the driver was nearing the junction with Walker Avenue when they hit 91-year-old Illodia Phadael as she crossed the street. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported that the suspect motorist fled the scene in a 2015 or newer Nissan Murano with front-end damage, speeding off eastbound on 10th Avenue. Witnesses were asked to contact Detective Jacob Frey of the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
