Ft Lauderdale, FL – Two Hospitalized After House Fire on 11th St

Ft Lauderdale, FL - Two Hospitalized After House Fire on 11th St

Fort Lauderdale, FL (December 7, 2023) – Authorities in North Lauderdale said two individuals, including a 3-year-old girl, were critically injured in an overnight fire on Thursday, and investigators were attempting to determine what caused the fire.

Around 1:00 a.m. morning, firefighters were sent to a residence in the 8100 block of SW 11th Street. Firefighters saw smoke and flames emanating from the residence upon their arrival. Per authorities, four individuals were rescued at the site: two women, one man, and a child. Authorities reported that the child and one of the women were both taken to Broward General Hospital for treatment. The fire’s cause is being investigated by the state fire marshal in the meantime.

Our thoughts are extended to the injured victims and their families. We hope for their complete recovery.
