Ft Lauderdale, FL – Man Hit & Killed By Tri-Rail Train Near 21st Terr

Fort Lauderdale, FL (February 23, 2024) – On Friday morning, a Tri-Rail train struck and killed a man in Broward County.

Fort Lauderdale Police were dispatched to the vicinity of 200 Northwest 21st Terrace at 10:10 a.m. in response to a complaint regarding a man who had been injured by a train. When officers arrived, they discovered the individual deceased. FLPD officers are conducting an investigation into the events leading up to the incident and have not released further details in the interim.
