Ft Lauderdale, FL – Injuries Recorded in Trailer Fire at 68th St & First Ln
Fort Lauderdale, FL (December 25, 2023) – Firefighters responded early Monday morning, December 25, to a fire in a community near Fort Lauderdale, and reported a handful of potential victim injuries.
Around 4:30 a.m. in the morning, emergency personnel were alerted to the scene of two trailers on fire near the intersection of Northwest 68th Street and First Lane. Additional fire engines were sent to the location in order to contain the rapidly expanding fire after the flames engulfed both trailers. EMTs also reported to the site of the blaze to assess the injured residents, though the total number of people hurt is unknown. Investigators are still trying to pin down what started the fire, and Fort Lauderdale officers asked witnesses to get in touch.
