Cutler Bay, FL – Rollover Wreck, Injuries on FL Trnpke at 216th St

Cutler Bay, FL (September 6, 2023) – A rollover accident involving a truck hauling dirt caused injuries and snarled southbound traffic on the Florida Turnpike near Cutler Bay’s Southwest 216th Street on Wednesday morning.

Initial reports indicate that the truck accident has blocked numerous southbound lanes, leaving just the right shoulder accessible. Northbound onlookers have been delayed as a result of the traffic congestion created by this restriction.

Road closures in the area were recorded on video by traffic cameras at about 7:30 a.m., and paramedics were spotted at the scene.

Additional details on the accident have been requested from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP). The investigation is active and ongoing in the meantime.
